We are now 200 eGymees!

On Tuesday December 1st 2015, eGym celebrated the arrival of the 200th employee, or so called “eGymee”!

A few days before D-day, a mysterious appointment named “many reasons to celebrate” had been scheduled in the eGymees’ calendar. On the day, it was announced that there were exactly 200 reasons to celebrate!

For this wonderful occasion, as many balloons as employees were floating in our offices in Munich and Berlin. After a thank you word from our CEO Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer, everyone could grab for their present: an eGym branded gym bag, a sports bottle, an advent calendar and letter signed by the two founders! The presents were also sent to all the eGymees working in other locations and remotely.

Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer, CEO and Co-Founder: ”When Florian and I started eGym, not in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that one small idea could skyrocket from just the two of us to a team of 200 within 5 years! But it did. It did because 200 of the most talented, creative, and forward-thinking people are evolving a once small idea into the most innovative concept in an entire industry. Thank you for making this possible!

This event surely was an opportunity to take a look back on what eGym achieved and to take a look forward towards the great challenges awaiting us in the future!

Florian Sauter, CTO and Co-Founder: “As the journey continues, we want to proceed and perform as one team. The speed of the development and obstacles we (had and) have to overcome might mean making sacrifices and mastering challenges. We thank you already today for staying passionate, creative, and forward-thinking. Thank you for your outstanding work.”
