Every six weeks the eGym interns and working students meet for a relaxed get-together after work to chat and share a few thoughts, laughs – and maybe also one or two beers 😉 Since this time we were hoping for some nice weather to enjoy the last rays of sundown we decided to have burgers on our roof top… but then German spring intervened we preferred shifting the whole thing to our snuggly warm kitchen.

These Youngster events are really important to us! Why? They are such a fun chance to get to know the colleagues we work with on a daily base even better and in a different environment than just in our desk-to-desk talks or during lunch.

This time, the exchanging of different thoughts and views actually started already during our event’s preparation when we noticed pretty much every one of us had their own theory about how to prepare the BEST burgers 😀

So, too many cooks spoil the broth? Luckily, in our case we could prove that wrong and we all loved our delicious, self-prepared burgers. After feeling full and satisfied, we went on to a shisha bar just a couple of streets away from our office, where we performed the Friday night miracle of routing out a couch corner we all could fit in – another chance for all of us to literally get closer.

As I myself am pretty new in eGym it was the first time for me to be part of an event like that – and I’m definitely looking forward to the next ones to come!
