- What is your name and position at eGym?
My name is Stefan and since the beginning of October 2015, I work as a dual student at eGym. After an exciting first year in the eGym Physio team, I was given the opportunity to gain further experience in the Marketing and Event department during my second year.
- Why did you join eGym?
I believe eGym offered me the best options to improve myself on a personal level as well as my working skills. I get a lot of thrilling insights in a dynamic environment and meet many different people with various backgrounds. Moreover, I’m able to contribute own ideas and receive exciting tasks with much responsibility which is motivating me a lot!
- What are your daily tasks?
eGym is involved in many different national and international events which means a lot of organizational work. Therefore, I work closely together with our event managers as well as our sales team. The handling of clients’ registrations is one of my major tasks. Furthermore, my responsibilities include looking for our Facebook page as well as analyzing data of marketing actions such as Social Media Ads.
- What do you enjoy most about your position?
I really appreciate the chance to be part of many different events like the FIBO in Cologne or the EXPO in Basel. Getting in touch with clients and introducing our products on trade shows is one of the most exciting aspects of my job. Moreover, I love working in an international environment. I’m excited about learning about businesses in other countries and collaborating with people operating in other markets.
Anything else you’d like to add…
Something that is really important to me is mentioning the great atmosphere at eGym. I got to know teams with awesome colleagues and supervisors who are willing to trust you a lot by giving you much responsibility. eGymees are really into helping each other to maximize performance. Plus, you get useful feedback by colleagues which helps you to improve your skills. I’m a huge fan of our HR/Office Management activities as well. The company puts a lot of effort into making employees feel appreciated and comfortable. Integration activities like special events for interns and working students made me feel welcome and gave me the chance to get to know people when I was new in Munich and didn’t know anyone.
